Students examine common dairy myths and learn to distinguish fact from fiction by exploring milk production processes like pasteurisation, while developing media literacy skills to evaluate health claims about dairy products.

 

Nutrition & Bone Health

Students explore the relationship between nutrition and bone health, learning how calcium, vitamin D, and protein from dairy products support bone development, while understanding the importance of weight-bearing exercise for maintaining strong bones.

 

Smart Shopping

Cooking with Confidence

Students explore dairy science in cooking, learning how techniques like heating and acidification transform ingredients through chemical reactions like coagulation, while building practical kitchen confidence.
