World School Milk Day

The National Dairy Council has teamed up with the Agri Aware to celebrate World School Milk Day with ‘Lá Fhéile Bainne’. Lá Fhéile Bainne will take place on Wednesday 27th September 2023 with a National Webinar on all things dairy. The 30-minute webinar is open to all primary school pupils but is best suited to upper primary classes. The National Dairy Council and Agri Aware will be coming to you live from Henry & Enda Walsh’s dairy farm in Oranmore Co. Galway.

You and your pupils will: – learn about the role of grass in producing Irish milk and dairy, – meet Henry’s cows and learn more about the milking system in place, – learn about the role of dairy in a healthy diet, – take part in a live Q&A with Agri Aware, the NDC and our host farmers.
